We are building a foundational team diverse in background, experience, and thought. Be part of
our exciting journey to build the world’s first commercial chip-based diamond magnetometer.
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Embedded Software Engineer to join our team
specialising in quantum sensing technology, specifically in magnetometry utilizing nitrogenvacancy (NV) centres in diamond and integrated CMOS chip manufacturing.
About Us
We have developed a solid-state quantum magnetometer that combines chip-scale
manufacturability, high-sensitivity and low size/weight/power. The sensor exploits the quantum
properties of synthetic diamond with an integrated CMOS control chip to measure magnetic
field vectors, crucial for magnetic navigation, anomaly detection, subterranean imaging and
medical diagnostics.
Position Overview
You will be responsible for designing, developing, characterising, and optimising embedded
software and hardware for DeteQt’s CMOS chip-based magnetometer.
